Can I switch my birth control?
Yes. I review your goals—bleeding control, acne, migraines, mood, cycle predictability, future fertility—and recommend options like pills, the patch, the ring, hormonal or copper IUDs, the implant, or the shot. I plan a seamless changeover so there’s no gap in protection, and I send prescriptions the same day when appropriate.
Do you place IUDs and implants?
Yes. I place and remove hormonal and copper IUDs. I don’t place or remove the etonogestrel arm implant. I’ll talk through which device fits your needs, review timing, pain-control options, after-care, and typical side effects like temporary cramping or spotting. Same-day placement is often available.
Can I get STI testing without symptoms?
Yes. Screening is available on request and can include urine or swab tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea, plus blood tests for HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis when needed. I share results promptly, explain next steps clearly, and provide treatment and partner guidance if needed.
Do you treat UTIs?
Yes. I offer evaluation and treatment with same-week appointments and often same- or next-day visits for symptoms. I can do a urine test in the clinic, send a culture when needed, and start medication right away. Seek urgent care if you have fever, back or flank pain, or vomiting.
