IVF Monitoring
Stay on track with precise, timely monitoring. I coordinate ultrasounds, STAT labs, and pre-cycle testing so your IVF cycle runs smoothly and your primary clinic has what they need, when they need it.
Who this helps
People preparing for IVF or already in treatment who need local monitoring, including:
-
Those working with out-of-area or out-of-state IVF clinics
-
People needing early-morning ultrasounds or STAT labs close to home
-
Patients preparing for a frozen embryo transfer (FET) who need lining checks
-
Anyone needing pre-cycle evaluations such as SIS, mock transfer, or endometrial biopsy for ERA
What's included
Ultrasound monitoring with same day reporting to your IVF clinic
STAT estradiol, progesterone, LH, and other cycle-specific labs with same day results
Saline infusion sonogram (SIS)
Mock transfer
Endometrial biopsy for ERA testing (per your clinic’s protocol)
Cycle coordination with your IVF clinic, including faxing and secure electronic transfer of results
What to expect
Monitoring visits are short, focused, and designed around your IVF protocol. I complete the ultrasound, draw any required labs, and send results to your primary IVF clinic the same day. You receive a copy of the report as well so you know exactly where you are in your cycle.
If you are completing pre-cycle testing, SIS, mock transfer, or ERA biopsy, I’ll walk you through what each test means, how to prepare, and what to expect afterward. Most patients are able to drive themselves home and return to normal activity the same day.
I stay in communication with your IVF clinic throughout the cycle so you don’t have to manage coordination on your own. You’ll always know your next step and when to take it.
IVF Monitoring Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be an established patient to start IVF monitoring?
No. If your IVF clinic has already created your protocol, you can start monitoring here once I receive their orders. I’ll help gather what I need from them so the process feels as simple as possible.
How early are monitoring appointments?
Most monitoring visits are in the early morning so your IVF clinic gets same-day results and can adjust medication timing if needed. I’ll work with you to match your clinic’s preferred schedule.
What’s included in an IVF monitoring visit?
Visits usually include a focused ultrasound to measure follicles or endometrial lining, plus STAT labs such as estradiol, progesterone, or LH depending on your cycle day. I follow your IVF clinic’s protocol so your team has exactly what they need.
Do you send results directly to my IVF clinic?
Yes. I send ultrasound images, reports, and lab values to your IVF clinic the same day, using secure electronic transfer or fax based on their preference. You also get a copy for your own records.
Can you do SIS, mock transfer, and endometrial biopsy for ERA?
Yes. I offer saline infusion sonogram (SIS), mock transfer, and endometrial biopsy for ERA as part of pre-cycle testing when ordered by your IVF clinic. I’ll explain how to prepare and what to expect afterward.
Will the procedures be uncomfortable?
Most patients describe mild cramping with SIS or biopsy that settles quickly. You can take an over-the-counter pain reliever beforehand if that’s safe for you. I’ll talk through comfort options so you know what to expect.
Can I drive myself home and go back to work?
Yes. Most patients are comfortable driving themselves home and returning to normal activities the same day after monitoring, SIS, mock transfer, or biopsy.
How long does each visit take?
Routine monitoring visits usually take about 15 to 20 minutes. SIS, mock transfer, or endometrial biopsy often take 20 to 30 minutes from start to finish.

How do I schedule or coordinate with my IVF clinic?
You can schedule online or contact the clinic directly. Once I have your IVF orders, I’ll align your appointments with your cycle calendar and keep your IVF team updated so you don’t have to manage all the back-and-forth on your own.
